TC 1/4 mile?
i don't think so.
your test is severely flawed. you can't feel 3 hp in your ass. you did not do the exact same 60ft, the exact same 330ft, exact same 660ft. so on and so forth. hence, your test is flawed.
ssshhhhhhhh, he knows it all. don't go throwing in variables that EVERYONE knows that has been drag racing for more than 5 years.

i mean really what tuning experience do you have? so they ship the cars with no fuel and no air in the tires eh? on could argue raising the rev limiter is a user controlled setting as well. face it, you cant give me a good definition of a "stock" time
let me try and follow your logic though- even if you drop the tire pressure below recommended PSI, it is not a mod because a "user controlled setting," however, if one runs a higher octane fuel than recommended this is a modification? if that is the case, a great majority of the people on this site were "modified" the first time they filled up their car because the owners manual calls for "91 or higher" and many people are running 93

How come I rarley see motortrends test here 60 in just 5.5 seconds and the quarter in 13.9 at 102.5 mph. Legit? You should see it at the track.
When we say track, we really mean the "'Ring," as in Germany's Nurburgring. It was there the SS, with a time of 8:22.85 minutes, set a new record for front-drive sport-compacts, a class previously dominated by the Opel Astra OPC, which was over 13 seconds slower. For context, a Z06 obliterates the 'Ring in 7:43, but that's with nearly twice the power, rear drive, and tires as wide as a La-Z-Boy.
