Tell your Cobalt SS Turbo Famous Moment!!!

Let me explain that i little better.......it was hard to explain in the title what i was meaning.

What I mean is this........Cobalt SS Turbos are rare......in fact each month they get more and more rare as I see on this forum, guys smashing them up and writing them off.......and thats just the ones that are reported on this forum.....imagine how many are wrecked each week that we never hear about.

Heck........i dont even see many Supercharged Cobalt SS but i NEVER see Cobalt SS Turbos......not that thats a bad thing, I love having an uncommon car....

.............So this leads me to what this thread is all about........

Tell a story about a time when your Cobalt SS TURBO has drawn the attention of other people. It might have been from other cars guys or even people who generally dont have any interest in cars but they took notice.....hahahaha people can tell theres something special about the Turbo Cobalts even if they have never heard of them.

Heres my story......My dad loves my car......I mean loves it to death. He teased when I told him that I was buying a Cobalt SS Turbo and said...........

" ya that would be a great car for a 15 year old"

even though he had no idea what it looked like or what it was(hes not a car guy what so ever)hahaha! Sooooooo he tells me one day that a guy has driven by our house twice today(this was in the summer) in a brand new 2010 Camaro SS and slowed down and was staring at my Cobalt SS Turbo......next day....same thing my day tells me.......
On the third day I was outside washing my car and the Camaro SS guy drove up and stopped. At that point, I hadnt seen many Camaro SS so I was in AW!!!

He comes up all excited and asks "Is that what I think it is.........the Turbo Cobalt that set the record at the Nurinburgring for a front wheel drive car" i said of course and he was so
interested in my Cobalt SS Turbo!!!
I was more interested in his Camaro SS but he said that he had never even seen a Cobalt SS Turbo before and couldnt believe how awesome they looked and he LOVED the Z06 inspired rims..........funny cause to this day i still see Camaro SS on the road daily and since i bought my Cobalt SS Turbo a year ago ive seen three others on the road..........

I was a little red in the face but this wasnt the last time something like this would happen.........The next time was when I was at this fish and chips restaurant with my girlfriend when this gorgeous blond comes in the Restaurant and says out loud......

"Who drives that Gorgeous Black Cobalt SS in front of the store"

I said "thats me".......she gave me a wink and a thumbs up and said "nice car you have good taste"

I Love My Cobalt SS Turbocharged To Death........Whats Your Famous Story

I've got a few moments like that.
Waiting at a stop light, and two guys on some kind of sport bike, pull up next to me and were asking me stuff like "is that a turbo?" and stuff like that, then gave me the thumbs up and rode away.

Also while filling up at a gas station, I had an ambulance driver asking me about my car. He was pretty impressed with it.

It's always nice to see people impressed with my car, makes me proud of it.

While filling up with E/Gas, I've run into some other turbo cars and all seem to be pretty interested and throw out compliments, ask questions, etc.. Pretty cool.

Can't quite say its a famous moment... but it's kind of on topic?

not to be an #!$hole, but why are you even on this forum?

The best moments are being underestimated. Some 70,000 dollar automobile owners are shocked when I have eaten them for breakfast, actually a snack. Some of them haven't even been close.

But apparently our secret is out. (even in the douche honda forums)

I get compliments on my car pretty often. Just this afternoon at a buddy's Honda shop, I had a few guys ask about it. They had no idea they were supercharged then turbo. It's odd really, a mass produced car no one knows about.

Anytime I take someone for a ride in the SS/TC, they're shocked, they can't get over the performance. I remember pulling on an mid 2000's S4 and he gave me two thumbs up, was shocked I pulled on him
