Test driving HHR SS tomorrow!!!
Ok so found a couple dealers within Rhode Island, Mass, and Connecticut that have HHR SS's in stock. Most are black and most have just recently arrived. I plan on test driving one tomorrow night to see how it goes just to get the feeling of what this engine is putting down. Pricing wise most are 25,500 fully loaded so I'm souped. I'm not trading my car in at all, but my dad is highly conidering buying the HHR SS. Just seeing if anyone out there has test drove one yet or will I be one of the first?

Most ppl at the stealerships are pretty cool about the performance cars. They aren't dumb , they know you are there looking at that car because you want to see how fast it goes...

I drove one last week. Not too impressed with it but then again the car seems to have a break in program in it. Car didnt make any real boost till bout 3500 rpms and it maxed out at 15 psi. I can say this I know why they designed in the no lift shift system. That 2.0 fell flat on its face when I shifted, at least till boost came back. With constant 15 psi or better Im sure the car would fly.

I went to Tom Benson Chevrolet today after work to look at one, I got two words to say.... bad ass!!! Interior is beautiful, the black seats with the SS logo are clean and very comfortable, the gauges radio, and climate control is very nice. Exterior is very clean as well, from the 18in polished alluminum rims, the front and rear bumpers are very nice, it also seems to be lowered a tad bit. In my opinion, if I could I would probably trade in my 2.4SS for this vehicle.
