I want to put my rims on my car.


******* TPMS won't let me do this without getting bongs and CEL's.

WHAT...TPMS sensors do we use?

 

If you look on tire rack it has the model number and frequency. Im assuming you are talking about the tire pressure sensors that come on the 08?

 

I haven't seen the sensors up close yet to know if they are the aluminum bolt in style or the new GM style with the rubber stems. Most wheels companys are accommodating to most manufacturers TPMS systems. You would just need to talk to the wheel manufacturer directly to verify fitment. I have mounted hundreds of after market rims while retaining factory TPMS.

i went into my chevy tho and it had the aluminum ones tho :S

 

Could you put one of the rims on a scale and let us know what they weigh? Sorry about the tread jack.
