My buddy has a trifecta cable that he used to tune his cruze. He said I could borrow it to tune my 08 cobalt ss. Will this cable work with my car? The only thing it says is 'tactrix' and its a clear box with a black cable

Yes it should work I have a tactrix cable for my 2009 SS. But if you really want to know go to WOT-Tuning.com and ask there.

 

Yes it will work. They both use the same CAN bus protocol.
