Trigger Pulled...

I know that introductions are traditionally made in the Lounge, but this seemed to be the more appropriate spot for me

"Me" is Nate, soon to be proud owner of a spanking new 2009 SS Coupe. And this is no, "...well I maybe sorta would like to have one..." or "...I really wanted this or that but oh well..." meanderings. I spent weeks just picking one out. Hell, if I'm gonna part with 20K+, it's gonna be right dammit

But, my dealer has put up with this fickle a-hole for long enough. The car arrives tomorrow, so I'll be heading that way immediately after work. I'm shooting the entire event on my HP R967, so expect gratuitous pics and vids to follow soon. And no, "...hey look at me here's a half-a** pick of my ride..." or poorly conceived 8-13 second videos. I'm gonna dump the motherload on you fellas

Great site. Looking forward to getting involved...

- Nate

Thanks fellas. Unfortunately, the dealer was booked with deliveries yesterday, so I got bumped to this afternoon Media bits (and exhaustive details) will follow shortly after

Quick look:

• Victory Red Coupe;
• Sunroof;
• High Profile Spoiler;
• Ultralux;
• RPD.

I'll pay $26K out the door, including extended 60/60K (Gold Wrap) warranty and GAP, on GMAC 0%.

See ya this evening

How much was the warranty? I balked at $23k out the door but most Cobalts in this area are about $21k-$22k out the door with all of the options. What color seats did you get (ebony, red, or gray)?

Sorry for the wait fellas. Didn't actually take delivery until Saturday, but did manage to squeeze-off a couple shots before it started raining. Nothing special. I'll post some video and action pix when the weather lets up

Also, it's a little late, but Winged Warrior is coming up Mother's Day Weekend (follow the link for info). I attended WWIII and had a blast. This year, Bull Run Winner Morgan Alsop is joining in! I'm actually competing this time around, so wish me luck
