Trouble!

Sorry for the long post. So yesterday on my way to the spend a couple days at the casino for my fiancés surprise bday present my car decided to take a **** on me. I was passing a car going from 4th to 5th gear but when I got it onto 5th it started jerking real bad so I slowed down a little and dropped back into 4th and it still kept jerking and I heard a real loud knocking noise when I would give it some gas. Then it all of the sudden shut off. I pulled over on the highway popped the hood and didn't see anything out if the ordinary. Tried to start it and it fired up but didn't sound like she wanted to keep running. I was already running late so my buddy came over with his trailer and picked it up. So it's just sitting at my moms house. I didnt get a chance to really investigate. It was almost 2 am before we got to the casino. Without any video of the noise anyone have any ideas what's going on. Any input would be great thanks ahead of time.

Here is the video from the other day. I changed the top MAP sensor and they sent me the wrong sensor for the bottem one.

Charge piping was all connected still. It only knocks when I hit the gas. I don't think it's the intercooler.

any CEL? If you have Trifecta you can scan for codes using EZFlash. Would be good to post the codes if you have any.

a popped charge pipe will not show a code. check the connection son the charge pipes. check the passenger side end tank of the intercooler for cracks or pieces missing.

He specifically stated that the charge piping is all connected still.

Telling him to check the charge piping based on the symptoms described is great advice, but after he posted that he already checked it all, it can't hurt to ask him to scan for codes.

An insanely lean condition can cause a knocking issue. Leak down and compression test would be the next steps after everything else is checked out.

i stopped by my car today when I was headed home from the casino and fired it up. first off it absolutely sounds horrible from the knocking its really loud. it sounds like to me its coming from the intake manifold or underneath that area. it knocks really hard while its warming up then it will stop until you hit the gas. I also noticed that it boosting a little I seen it hit 12psi while warming up, it isn't a constant boost but it flutters. I didn't have my computer with me to check the codes yet. and im pretty sure that my warrenty ended at the beginning of June but I need to look into it.

U sure it didn't charge pipe didn't blow off the intake manifold? Ur boost at idle is bad map for sure cause its impossible to boost at idle. Check vac tank see if that's still intact. Ull have to lift it and crawl under there, no use guessing

Update: So finally got to look at my car for a bit yesterday. The knocking that I thought I heard was actually coming from the intake. Loud popping noise only when I start it up and then when I hit the gas. I don't remember what the exact codes were but I had three misfires cylinder 1,2, and 4. And the other one was some sort of accelerator sensor. I also noticed an unusual tick in the intake manifold. I know I always hear some sort or ticking but this one seemed out of the ordinary. I was thinking about gettin new map and maf sensors as a start. If that don't work I will send it to the dealership.
