Damn that sucks man, good thing your safe though. I know exactly how you feel, my friend totalled my ss/sc a day after i got it, still working on replacing it.

Oh and it definitely is repairable-airbags deploying does kind of **** stuff up though. My car got ran over a culvert sideways and thrown back into a ditch going at least 50, it's getting pretty much completely rebuilt(I'm not getting it back though, didn't want it). Just have to find a really well experienced mechanic and have plenty of cash. Repair costs were estimated at 13k lol

if she hit you running a stop sign, then it should be her insurance that covers it, so you should be good, but i think they are going to total it. you can always buy it back tho...

Except My Car. Insurance should pay the bank. Hope there is gap coverage on the loan or you might still owe money on the loan even after the insurance pays.

Yea that's totaled... Mine had much less damage and was 11.5 k to fix..... The insurance company will probably give you 14-16k. Then depending on what you owe gap will pick up the rest and your will get no cash out of the deal. If you know anyone that owns a body shop take it there. Body shops that insurance hires do not really care about your car, just about getting it in and out.

Keep a close eye on her insurance company... FYI whatever they can get away without paying they will

Was just in a accident same thing happened to me.... Worst experience ever

Well if you notify insurance, they will probably mark it as totalled and give you some cash for it. Not sure though, I really don't know much about insurance. Did the women driver notify her insurance? Hopefully you got contact details from her, I would be all over her insurance first

or steal you PCM out of your wrecked car. Doubt they would notice it if its totalled. lol. You could put it in your next car and have Vince make some adjustments.

It cost money to unlock the PCM.. you would have to pay him to tune your new PCM. I think>?

The 1 in 15 thing isn't quite correct ..... back when we got those numbers from GM there was a thread here where all 15 yellow 4 door's had their vin's accounted for ....then like 3 or 4 more people with yellow sedan's posted their vin's so it kinda proved that there were more than 15.....

Newer numbers suggest there were 36 yellow sedans made .... which makes sense because when GM released the production numbers there were still cars being produced .
