VIR track experience with my Cobalt
I have my spies.
To the OP, the little problems you mention with being able to get the car to turn are likely mostly due to the junk tires on the car, although you probably know that already.
Yeah, I know they limited me in a number of ways. I was sometimes getting a little ABS when braking hard, too. I plan to get a set of wheels with better tires for the track next season.
Eh... just looked like someone driving their car hard (maybe a little too hard) and enjoying it to me.
Not enough people that buy sports cars or bikes have any idea what their performance envelope is cause they only buy them to look cool.

I certainly understand it's not a qualifying session or race, but I didn't sign up for parade laps. That was one mistake on one turn of one lap of one of 8 sessions. I'd think if my driving was a problem that my instructor wouldn't have signed me off for solo.
By the way, I have posted the higher resolution pics to the original post.

Don't sweat it man. If you don't go a little over the limit how do you know where it is?
Not sure why people are giving you a hard time about it.
At least you're doing it on the track and not the street.
I remember when I took my motorcycle racing school with Ed Bargy. He said if you don't crash twice a year you can prolly go faster.
