Weak CV Joints?

All,

Has anybody had to replace axles due to bad cv joints? If so, was it covered under warranty? My car has 21000 miles, and I'm getting a clicking from the driver side wheel. Gotta get under car and inspect the boots...

i replaced mine only cuz i beat on them alot....one of them actually started clunking right at the tripod...like one fo the tripod bearings broke or something...and the other started clicking at the CV joint...so i went ahead and reaplced them....kinda scary to hear shafts clunking that loud. but as far as warranty goes..i dont have any.

What about clicking when I'm turn make a sharp turn? My car has a very small turning radius. I can make a u-turn on a one lane road with just a 3 foot median without going off the road. Is the popping noise when I turn all the way the CV joints? It's still under warranty.

I had that same clicking. Axles replaced twice under warranty. After 30kmi it got REAL bad. Then I took it to a dealer and they re-torqued the axle nuts and it went away.

im getting a weird clicking/chattering when I drive over gravel, or rough road. You can kind of feel the disconnect in the steering wheel. Kinda worrysome
