Pop out your cup holder and look at the cables. You should be able to tell what broke from the shifter arm. Should be covered under warranty I would think.

Your shift linkage came off the the roll pin. If you take out your cupholder, you can wiggle (the right cable); It's not supposed to do that. But take it back up to the dealer; it's warrantied.

How the **** do people break the shifter. I am at 5k miles and not once shifter related issue

Do a search on here for roll pin

You can go to NAPA and get the roll pin you need but make sure it is the right size.

If you want it repaired under warranty you need to tell your dealer napa has a roll pin that will work if they give you the it will take 2 weeks to get it BS

Wonder if it is how the Pin was installed or if it is the actually pin itself because most people are saying the pin that broke just broke on its own not even shifting hard so my best bet is the machine that installs these pins loads up a case of them at a time and you just happen to get one of the bad pins... The ones they sell at NAPA are hard core and I think they are steel VS the stock aluminum pins .. Thats an assumption .... Some dude has a post here about how to replace it and how the dealer told him it would take 2 weeks to get the pin in so he just went to NAPA bought the same size pins and replaced it but it is in a REALLY right spot so if you want to save yourself some headaches search for that post as best you can ..

Good Luck dude..

Write up a HOW-TO if you do it yourself ..

dude there is no ******* way you lost every single gear at once. if they want to replace it under warranty sure, let them have at it but if they tell you that you have to pay for it, tell them to go **** themselves cause thats definitely a linkage/roll pin issue
