twin turbo on a I4?? yeah...no.
hmm depends on what brand turbo, they have different size/models like the garrett gt35, gt307.
Or a borg warner turbo etc etc. It depends what you want from it. Some spool sooner, some make all the power up top.
Do you want the most hp ever? do you want it to have more power down low? more power up top ? these also dont just bolt right up.... you should do more reseach...

bro your gunna have to do a lot of research, I dont think anyone is even close to 700hp on an lnf and still streeting it.
I know the zzp guys have like 500whp so thats about 550-560bhp.
Seeing as your not really sure Where/how you want the power delivered, i would say do A LOT more research into. Your going to spend the amount you spent on the car in making it get to where you said you want it. But in any rate, good luck and let us know whats going on, cuz what you want you have to be the first which means you get to have all the **** ups!

700hp...yeah no..not yet. You want that go with the LSJ supercharged cobalt and use the gmpp build book.

Geez chill the f out guys this you guys you're bitting the guys head off for not knowing everything right off the bat.
To answer your question currently without a large sump of money knowledge and ***** nobody has made 700 hp with the LNF the most i've seen is ZZP's 500whp on the borg warner S256 turbo. And basic knowledge of cars is that FWD vs RWD and AWD has terrible traction and 700 whp would be useless in this vehicle because it's FWD

If you're serious about wanting to build this beast there are a few builders out there that have already made all, or at least most, of the expensive mistakes and would be happy to take your money to build something with absolutely NO gaurantees. You have literally started too late in life for a project of this magnitude. And with the cost of such a project have you thought of an alternative? Maybe a ZO7? It would be a bargain at a little over $100,000.
Again! I mean NO offense.
Before everybody jumps in my **** here is a link;
http://www.gmtunersource.com/media/r...mplete-web.pdf
to the GM TuneSource recipe for Ecotec engines up to 1400 HP. Many of these engines are based on the L61 engine and many of the parts changed are already in our LNF's and are already good for around 800 HP. Parts like the stock block, head, forged crank and rods, stainless intake and sodium filled exhaust valves, oil squirters under the pistons, and the list goes on. The engine management system would, by neccessity, be a one off design.
Granted, when built to 700 HP I'm not too sure how streetable it would be and with the tires required to get it to hook up it wouldn't exactly be a grocery getter but the POTENTIAL IS there if the MONEY is there.
So I'm not entirely crazy. If I ever hit the lottery LOOK OUT!!!

Why would it be stupid? I don't think it would be stupid. I'd love to build a 700 HP Cobalt street sleeper. And when I hit the lottery I WILL. I just don't think this guy is up to the task. He obviously doesn't have the background for building something as technical as this project. I don't either right now. But with a LOT of research and a little help from my friends I think I could make it happen. The link I referred to practically guides you through the whole build process, step by step, and gives you the part numbers and sources for almost everything you would need. I would even look into the new Buick Regals' 6 speed automatic transmission that they will use behind their LNF. Can you imagine a 6 sp paddle shift on a Cobalt SS/TC on a road course? My figgers are starting to twitch. Oooooooooooo!!

if i hit the lottery and was putting that kind of money into a car, i would not do it to a cobalt. You'd see me in like a twin turbo vette, an r8, a 430, etc...... be a bit wiser.
I like my LNF, but if i wanted to build a even a 500hp monster i would be looking at a different platform.
Spend the money on a camaro?
But if you want to continue, get yourself some books and read up on what components make horsepower and why. Also remember at a certain point your gunna be spending A LOT of money just go get another 20hp at a time, when initially power will go up rather quickly!
