Good question! Come on ZZP you need a RPD + 1 and an RPD + 2 pillar soon.

Isn't there an airbag in the "a" pillar? That might be holding them up a little.

no, it's a side curtain air bag. The a-pillar just has the "air bag" sign thingy to let you know there's one up there.

correct me if i'm wrong...

Sedan option... I'm running the ZZP 2 gauge sedan pod right now. If I could have RPD + Interceptor, I would be very happy.

Well, get a list or something going so vendors can easily see the demand.

It's my understanding that ZZP has/had an RPD pillar ready to go to the mold shop but aren't sure if there's enough demand to warrant doing it if there's only a small number of people that are interested.

Hell I can make stuff out of fiberglass... I would be like my surfboards I fix or shape... It won't match in color but it will work and look fine... I dunno how hard it would be to color match... Isn't the "A" pillar covered in a cloth or something? I glassed gauges for my old 55 chevy truck dash, this couldn't be much harder.

You could buy a ZZP triple or dual gauge pod. Cut it. Cut the factory RPD pod, fiberglass the two together, sand to a proper finish, and create a mold.

I see at least 5 sales in this thread already. It could cost $70-$100.. im sure people would buy it.

The problem is that they're textured. Making a smooth one wouldn't be too hard.

Yea that would be a pain... The stuff on the pillar almost feels like cloth though... Maybe its just glued on and I can just take it off and swap it onto a new pillar... I would have to go look. I suppose I could bust out my glassing **** and see if I could even do it but my laziness is taking over right now.

Has anyone put a two-gauge pod on their dash yet? That's where I want mine, but I'm not inclined to the fiberglass arts.

Im just saying for an individual to do it and put in the time to make it work, along with getting a mold yeah it'd probably be that much and I really dont think people would complain.
