Why haven't this happened yet!!!!
OK, we have a HUGE topic for discussion.
Question: Why hasn't anyone created a good lip spoiler to compliment our cars?
The R1 concept or whatever one that is extremely large and ricey. A while ago there was some guy that was making ones if you sent him the trunk but it was 800 dollars. DOesn't it look like someone cut it off the back of our trunks? Could you imagine if someone made these? This would generate so much cash that it would be retarded. Make it for $50, sell it for $250. DUH!!!!!
SOMEONE with a brain figure out a way to make something like the lip on a terminator cobra that we can put on and clean up the rear end.
SO CALLING TO ALL VENDORS!!! HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU WANT TO MAKE THIS YEAR?
Everyone POST here and lets get someone to make a sublte but amazing wing. If anyone is really good at Photoshop hook it up and lets get the design going. If all of CobaltSS helps design it, it would make it more likely to be bought.
HELP! I hate the look of this crappy cut trunk!

funny you should ask. I have one being made in clay to review for whyumadson, and one for a redline for me . Once whyumadson has approved his and I have approved mine, it may become available to others.
all it takes is time and money and skill sets to make something that is aero correct and looks good.
thats tough.
i have the aero experience and wind tunnel testing to know what should work... but its a lip spoiler not a wing. wings are good but i dont like them for street/track cars
stay tuned, good questions from the OP

No it hasn't. Tjin is a entire trunk and who the hell is going to pay $800 dollars and supply there own trunk. That is the dumbest idea I've ever heard. I want a wing exactly like that but is needs to be something that we can put on our trunk not the entire trunk. That is why it failed.
Without it being a one piece unit built into the trunk like that, something that thin would not be able to support itself against wind resistance...at least not without some kind of absurd mounting setup.

Whether it's a one piece trunk or not I'm in.
I have a wingless trunk up in my garage attic that needs a repaint and I was going to take it to a metal fab shop by my house to see if they could re-create the Tjin one this summer.

It could have a core comprised of some other material then wrapped in carbon fiber. We dont need Formula1 grade crap here. I remember some company selling one a year or two ago for around 300 I think.
