has anyone confirmed that the 09's are exactly the same as the 08's? computer wise?

if they're different, i can guarantee no one will start working on tuning for a car that was only released for a few months.

Yes.

I ordered an 09 because all that is left at dealers is the ricer yellow and the victory red with the red interior.

And for the Reconfigurable Performance Display.

I bought my 08 because its the car I've been dreaming about owning since I seen that they were gonna produce it. And the fact that we only have 1 Chevy dealer in my City and they have only gotten 1 in so far. Gotta be the 1st to have one, LOL.

That does sound like sex, LOL. My Mustang is white, so I bought a black SS/TC.

I get to go in and order a SS sedan this week in Cincinnati, so I'm canceling my forgotten TC order.

For some reason I dont think they are producing as many SS/TC's as they did SS/SC. Now I know the SS/SC has been out for awhile and that's why you see more of them, but hey you never know sales could go boom and they produce a shitload for 09.

well with less than 10,000 '08's produced your best bet will probably be finding an 09 - assuming they produce more.. Hmm... less than 10k produced.. first year of GM's re commitment to the SS badging...Almost sounds like an instant classic in 20 years or so .
