So, I go to change my fogs, I take my headlight and would you know it, my intake is blocking me.....is there any other way besides jacking up the car to get to the fog?

 

ummm i have an 08 ss/tc and my intake def doesnt block me getting to my fogs....

 

you wanna talk about the worst luck, I was driving my 09 SS/TC home from the dealer the night I got it, very little traffic on the road...a pickup truck flys past me at about 80 in a 55 and kicks up a rock and made a huge crack in my windshield. Had her for 3 hours at that point.

 

i think it may be because he has an actual aftermarket intake as quoted in his sig. not an "airbox mod"

 

dude ur intake doesnt block it f***ing reach in there and twist it!

uh buddy i have the injen if you were to look you have to go around the ******* intake and you cant fit your hand in there. So i am right number 1, like the other guy said i have an aftermarket intake hes right the other side is fine but i have a huge filter, its the that came with it so i know im right


this is coming from an 06 ss/sc owner, of course its not gonna block yours cause your is positoined differently, i had the 06 and had no problem with it the shape of our intakes is different and if you want i can take a pic for you

 

id just jack up the car. its easier to take it out that way.

 

oh i did it all ready jsut took the fender off underneath it was 1..2..3.. lol i wrote this a while ago and someone revived it

am i right though the intake blocks a lot

OK not to be a dick, but when I argue about something I'm usually 99.9% right

Step 1 I have one of these


Step 2 I take the headlight off and Boom


Step 3: I went underneath and finished


Step 4: I got Bored
