Read my PM to you.

Crib notes: TC gauge reads up to 30psi, SC gauge reads up to 20psi. Dunno if you can use the SC gauge on the TC.

If you plan on getting a tune or possibly even the gm stage kit, boost may go above 20#, so y not just stay with the SS/TC gauge?

I'm thinking he wants the PSI gauge rather than KPA, and SS/SC ones are more readily available...

Go aftermarket, stay at 30psi. IMO.

Hey,

Yeah I want a PSI boost gauge as mine is in KPA. Thanks for the help guys. I was just seeing if it would work as it would have been cheaper if it does work.

I just wish we could get other Autometer gauges in the same design, ie Oil PSI, Water Temp, voltmeter......

They have what they call their "Cobalt" series, but they're not the same. I didn't see any that looked like ours.

Cobalt series is not supposed to match up to our cars, they call them that because they have blue backlighting.

no way dood. they made them JUST for our cars. **** all the other cars. autometer made gauges for us. not them

but on a serious note. see if you can order a factory ss/tc boost gauge from the states. the would be the easiest way except for shipping it across the border

It would'nt be a smart move if your going to go Stage 1 with a TC weren't they saying it would be pushing 23psi?

What diameter is the boost SS/TC gauge? Could someone measure it, please? Is it the standard 2-1/16"? Sort of looks bigger in the photos I've seen.

Make a new gauge face? Not that hard. Just make a template off the old one.

You have to get an SS/TC gauge, the SS/SC one doesn't go high enough.
