The WRX is pretty quick. The turbo spools late, so if you do a roll you will more than likely smoke it.
My car dyno'd 225 whp, 260 wtq stock, so its on par with a stock LNF. The gearing is shorter, but its a 5 speed.

If its got Cobb Stage 1, you are looking at around 250 whp. give or take.
Cobb stage 2 is around 270 or 280.
Let someone drive your WRX and you drive your Cobalt and run them. I want video of how many busses your Cobalt puts on your WRX.

Two of my friends both have 20g wrx's, the bug eye loses by a bit to me and the hawk eye pulls a car or two on me. I am bolted and tuned with trifecta (crap) tune.

I'd have to film it to try to keep the cobalt and WRX in the frame of 2 different cameras

i had the pleasure of putting several bus lengths on a 2014wrx that wanted to play on the highway, i gave him the hit and pulled away pretty hard. it probably made him quite sad that he picked a race with a slow cobalt and saw taillights

Not for long. ~240 whp WRX vs ~460whp Cobalt.

<<<@!1!@>>>

It would be needed in this case.

My buddy just picked up a new 15 STI but doesn't want to race.......I think it would be a pretty good race(I only have GMS1 and a K&N drop in)......im sure he'll get me off the line from a dig but im curious if anyone has run against the new STI???......
still same motor from the last 10 years but several guys I have spoke to said Subaru has improved the factory tune which they say has improved the throttle response so the car supposedly "feels quicker". Wonder if it helps with the ringland issues those cars have have had in the past lol

Buddy picked up his 15' wrx about a month or 2 ago.

Easily beat him by atleast a bus by the top of third from a 60roll.

He said he'll take me after bolt ons and a tune. But he said that about his 13' wrx and I walked away from him in 4th.

Something about getting beat by another sedan makes them take the loss even harder

New WRX's with E85 put down around 310 to 320 whp.

New STi's still use the EJ257 motor and Vf48 turbo. from a roll you wll take it, stock vs stock. They dyno around 240 to 250 whp give or take.
