Wtf!
Wtf!
so i was driving my car on july 4th and it was running great until it decided to stall out...so i started checking it out and when i unpluged the MAF and the engine stayed running and i was able to drive it (without any boost) so i figured it was the sensor that was shot so i bought a new one and replaced it but still the same problem it will idle up and slowly go down until it stalls....any help or opinions on what the hell is going on?
check your rubber hose's too they might have popped off.
when you where driving was this right after you let of the gas?
code's would be sweet!!
look over every thing!
good news is it sounds like a cheap fix

Not really, got 23000 miles on mine and no drivetrain problems. Knock on wood
Yes, you have to occasionally run it on the blood of a virgin or unicorn tears to keep problems from developing.
make sure your intake is still sealed correctly
no guy, what his problem is is his cars breathing, thats the problem
thats from your intake not being attached, i had the same problem when i put on my aftermarket intake, check your pipes

jazer is probably right, you could have thrown codes when you pulled out the MAF, you can get those thrown codes deleted and the check engine light will go away, if you want to know what they mean then google them, i dont remember what they mean,
Mass Air Flow(MAF) Sensor P0100 / Primary Malfunction = sensor signal time period
High Pressure Fuel Volume Control Valve Circuit rationality P0090 Primary malfunction =
Voltage test pulse - off command within window.
This is what the codes are listed as, hope it helps.

Gotta be a boost leak. You need to pressure test it, but you'll need a compressor and a boost leak jig to do it. Did this problem occur after letting off a WOT run? I assume it did because it was July 4th. You probably cracked the intercooler endtank. It's unfortunately a common problem with high boost cars.
