WTF? Help

Ok I have 33k on my car and have had at least 8-10 map sensors replaced. I'm full bolt on at 24psi tune and have a mpx catch can. I understand boost doesn't do it and I underhand they are blowing from oil blow-by. So why since I have a catch can am I having this issue. I am considering on getting my intake manifold cleaned out by BYT, but what else. The newest one I got a week or two ago and maybe put 100 or less miles on it and the code came on after starting the car. I left for vacation on Friday night and left the car at home and got back and started it to run and get gas. And boom map sensor

try turning boost down a little, check your connections and do you see oil on the map's when you remove them?

I clean my air filter once every 10k. I just cleaned it a few months ago when I installed my intercooler. And no I don't see oil ever on the sensor.

After MAP sensor #2 I'd start looking for another source of the issue.

Try wiring, possibly the ECM, maybe a boost leak somewhere. If the 2nd sensor didn't fix it... then neither will the third... or the fourth and so on.

Man, I was looking at some of your recent posts..you have some serious **** goin' on!

here is just ONE recent one you made:

I always have a boost issue. Earlier in the week i had boost fluctuating issue booting from 20-30-20 and back and forth. I changed out the top intake manifold MAP sensor and then the lower sensor on the piping from the intercooler to the intake manifold. It now is jumping to 24 and slowly creeping to 30. I am tuned at 24psi. Whats going on?

30 Lbs??? Now THAT'S a *WTF* for SURE!!
Get your tuner to take a >>>LONG>>>HARD>>>LOOK! BOV will cause you a host of problems if you're not tuned for it as well.

Thanks guys. I'm going to call BYT and get a day for him to look everything over. The car is really annoying. Very frustrating.

I dont think it could be the tune cause right now after getting serviced by GM and getting the new map it ran at 24psi but like I said I got in the car and started it and got that code and I don't want to test boost at all because it may shoot to 30psi.

The dealer cleared it after they installed it. But does anyone think maybe the intake manifold needs to be cleaned

exactly, its not the map sensors its deff something else, ESPECIALLY if you are not seeing oil on your maps. bad wiring, tune, or something else.

I dont think a dirty IM would cause this, the IM is after the maps.

How is this tune related? lol.. Come on now..

He has had this issue since before ever getting a tune, then with a 22psi tune and still now with a revamp to 24psi. He said the car has some oily residue in the IM so we're going to clean everything out and check it over.
