not too many people running the wr-3..

but i'd say it's pretty much just personal preference, both great options

i'd like to see what others have to say though

Wr3 flows more so it'll create safer power (due to lower boost same power) the Zzp Efr is fine...

Which one is bigger? I like the efr cause it has the aftermarket look.

The wr3 flows more air depending on the actual inducer wheel I'd say 500chp (I don't know the wheel sizes) but the 6758 is tiny but mighty..

Get the WR3. Test it out for other people, I honestly think you'll be fine with either.

if the WR3 is bigger than the ZFR, I'd rather have the WR3. less damage on the internals with a bigger flowing turbo which also will make more peak power.

What Turbo is the wr3 based off of? What did it start life as?

And I don't understand why u will get charged a $250 core fee. What the hell do they need a k04 for if this is a completely different Turbo?

Lol the wr3 is tiny too..

But it has larger wheels so you'll see more cfm flow (later spoo) which is good

Not really following. It's a great turbo that will supply more than enough power for almost everyone on this site. With the price it's set at and the features of the turbo. No contest.

X2, never interested in doing core trades, deposits etc. I wonder what part of the k04 they're still using.. Maybe the n75 sensor, and wastegate stuff. who knows.

The center section is still k04, apparently it's rebuilt by precision to be ball bearing

Stock K04 vs WR3

55mm compressor wheel
56.5 exhaust turbine wheel

On my model which is the Prototype since we are in testing stages still has the 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet..

The WR-3 is a larger turbo the the ZFR..not saying it's better, just larger.

I think that the WR-3 will flow more CFM, which will make more "safer" power and will hold power longer up top. WIthin the week of having it fully tuned I love it. The car put down 412/425 easy on 93 octane. We were able to get more, but would be unsafe on 93 octane.

Damn. I love the looks of the WR-3 on their website. The thing looks like a monster. I do like the ZFR though. It sounds nasty as all hell and is incredibly fast to spool from seeing vids. make me want to upgrade mine...

Kdub, That is pretty damn impressive to for 93. With E, it'd be nuts to see the results.

Here is the video of the dyno, sounds like a jet. It is a big mother ****** too haha. Dave (owner of Pwerks) said it will be the last bolt on they will do. It is just too big! Honestly I am fine with having it spool a little slower, so is my trans haha

This is total build, not put in car yet...

Stock turbo look? Trust me it looks nothing like the K04. At first Dave was going for that like he did with the WR-2, but it was impossible with the size haha. And yes it's a 4" inlet, you will receive a very nice reducer with the turbo. We are in the works of a 4" intake pipe right now

Yea man it's fun for sure. We were very satisfied with the numbers on 93. We are going to try E and Meth come spring time to see what we can push out of it. But i'm happy with my 410/422 DD tune

Haha. You posting that video, definitely made me consider this turbo within the next couple months. I got about 3 months to save...

You can still run a Bpv with instead of a BOV right?
