Hey all, so I recently got the catted ZZP downpipe back in November with their black Friday sale, and I installed it myself and all. I'm only on here because up until a few days ago, I started hearing a rattling coming from under the car., and it only came on whenever I was putting it into gear and letting go of the clutch. I had a buddy of mine check it out and he told me that he sat the downpipe shaking and moving as I let get off the clutch. Anybody have any suggestions as to why it might happen or how I can go about fixing this? It's not a big issue or anything, but it's just annoying to hear that rattling every time I take off

 

There's nothing that's touching it or anything, it's just making this loud rattle. I've attached a clip of what I'm hearing. I've seen here on the forums that people have had issues with the heat shielding coming undone and whatnot, but everything seems fine underneath

 

Check the motor mounts. looks like you might have to much engine movement.

 

Mine did that. My cat ended up going bad aka clogged cat. The honeycomb was rattling inside the downpipe and it caused the downpipe to shake. I ended up removing it and gutted my cat. Problem solved! However I would check with zzp and see if they will send you a new one as this is not the first person this has happened to with a zzp cat/downpipe.
