Exclamation 09 ss wheel fitment info!!

I used the search button but couldn't find any definite answers! The first track day is like a week away and i need some 17s for the tc! So what will fit for sure? Will a 17 with just a larger offset fit like a 45mm? Can i just throw some ss/na rims on?

26 lbs per rim is what they weigh. Hardly light if you ask me. A 18x8 OZ ultralaggera is a 18 lbs per rim. That is a lightweight wheel.

18.5 to be specific. lol I just can't bring myself to spend over $1400 for rims. I mean thats damn real enough for a turbo upgrade.

I agree. The stockers are really nice wheels IMHO, but I wish they were lighter. 26 lbs is heavy for a 18" forged aluminum wheel.

You do not, I repeat DO NOT want to run rims with a spacer for drag racing. I have heard BAD things will happen. and I believe the ss/na's require a spacer to run them.

uhmmmmmm.... Stock rims do not weigh 26lbs..... They actually weigh in at just over 22lbs and they are forged rims...... If they were good enough to lap the nurburgring I'm sure they will be fine for some auto X events or even larger real tracks like buttonwillow in CA, or Summit Point WV etc etc etc..... When they were on the ring they were on stock tires which arent really that bad, for you first few events the stock system will be fine..... Of course if you just slap on some sweet R compound(medium) tires that will be the best.... But as far as rims go you'll be fine....
