2007 Saturn Sky Redline (LNF) Seeing Knock when using WOT BOX NLS

Hey Guys,

Like the title says. I'm logging when I'm doing pulls, and I have two pulls that don't get much KR at all, but the last log shows KR through all gears. The only difference is that on the last pull I'm doing a 2step and NLS with the WOT Box.

Has anyone else logged runs with the WOT BOX doing NLS and seen any KR?

I'm attaching my logs. The first two are normal pulls (without NLS or 2step) the last one is with 2step and NLS through gears. I'm just hoping there some stupid thing I can do to get the ECU to stop thinking this is knock.

Hard to tell without HPT logs but you do realize the WOT box cuts timing for the NLS, right?

It's possible that it's a decay rate issue. Why not just write-entire with a GMPP Sky/Solstice cal? I could be wrong because it's been so many years but I thought it added that?

I don't have HPT. This log was done with torquepro. It's a Trifecta base tune. Yeah I knew that the wot box cuts timing..

I'm just wondering why No one else has had this issue.

When you say decay rate issue does that mean it's just not going away quickly enough?

I think T-man is talking about Knock Retard decay, how fast it goes from retarded timing (because knock) to normal timing (without knock).

Lot's of support for HPTuners tuning wink nod A friend at work was learning HPT for his car, gave up and is now working with ZZP through HPT they don't lock out the tune he can still modify stuff.

Not knocking trifecta here, but there are better tunes out there.

Thoughts regarding trifecta aside...the only time I see consistent knock retard is when using the wot box for 2 step or nls.

I'm wondering if the ecu is seeing the ignition delay from the wot box as a miss then interpreting it as knock ( thus triggering knock retard).
