Well if you went with slowlines suggestion: $2800 + half the shipping (unless you drive to get it) then whatever CCSS3 charges for tuning and possible install.

for a zzp full swap kit bout 4.5k for all the parts +install/tuning
for the one i posted, 2800 and your s/c stuff + install/tuning

turbo is a lot more fun, s/c don't belong on a 4cyl gm fail lol

Don't waste your money on a stage kit for the s/c. I have spent so much more on supporting mods and add-ons to try and make it faster without going into the motor itself and now I want to go turbo. I would have been much happier if I just saved up and went turbo from the start.

That's what im afraid of doing but on the same note I can't find a decent price on a turbo kit cuz im on a budget

If you ever wanna break 300 whp don't bother upgrading your stock SC. 300 is pretty much the limit for the m62. After that you're gonna wanna go turbo.

If you can even get it to 300hp without ethanol/headwork. I'm on a 2.7, all the supporting mods I can do, meth and tuned by byt and I only hit 278whp and decided not to dump anymore into it. I could swap for a long tube, pulley down more, build the head....at the end f the day the m62 is still holding me back and a tvs will never get you the numbers a turbo will so it's turbo time.
