2011 wrx OTD price and financing??
what do u guys think of a base wrx sedan (no options) for 25.5 K OTD price. 48 months at .9 financing, 10k down and $345 a month?? or i can do 60 months at 1.9 financing with 9k down and monthly payment of $308 which one would u do and is this a good deal?

if you do the 60 months, just make a extra car payment and if its a good loan it will go against principal and drop your load fairly quick. I looked at the wrx's but they left me to be desiring a sti. Just not worth that much with out going all the way to a sti, imo. And if you are trying to force yourself financially into one..you'll be disappointed.

If you want my opinion, I wouldn't do it.
The new STI and WRX motors are not stout motors anymore like the old ones are.
A large number of them suffer from piston ring failure (what happens to the lnf motors with 27-30psi), but the key here is that the subarus suffer from them on the stock tunes!
I would say even 20% of them have this fault. Subaru is not warrantying them, and people are pissed. Google it yourself. People make fun time and time again about the cobalts being horrible quality and blowing up. They have no clue. Why start with a car that can't take mods? Or start with a car that you need to do expensive work like pistons and stuff from the start? The LNF comes with forged internals from the gate (minus pistons). No other car manufacturer can say that minus the evo.
I would find a TC for 15k cheap and mod it dude. It would be way faster than the wrx anyway. Or if you have a TC, keep it.
The only foreign turbo car I would buy is an evo x or a 135i.
Stout motors and AWD (evo)

the only weakpoint in the wrx is the pistons which break around 400whp. mainly due to detonation. ive never heard of any wrx's having issues on the stock tune. there used to be a problem with the engines but there was a recall for it. and if there WAS a problem with the stock tune, subaru would HAVE to warranty it. so since theyre not that tells me that these people have mods.
OP, id say go for it. get the sedan wrx tho, the hatch looks ghey to me. plus the sedan is lighter. as far as payment goes, go with the 48 month plan. pay that bish off faster.

if you modify a car, its more likely to break. just saying. also, a 2011 wrx is not a 2008-2009 wrx.
also keep in account that a lot of people beat the crap out of their cars.

As far as the WRX goes, I say if you like it, buy it. You're not going to get as much straight line performance as you do with the TC, but the WRX makes up for that with just a better overall car IMO. AWD is always a good time too.

there will always be some sort of problem with any car. and i did google it. subrau has cranked out hundreds of thousands of wrx's and the ones that are having issues are mainly from modifications. only a slight few are failing on the stock tune, which can be assiciated with a factory defect.

the other one with the 09 has been thru 2 motors and they just covered the first one, the car has less than 10k miles. he is selling it cuz he cant even drive it cuz if it blows again he is fucked....
KEEP IN MIND, BOTH cars were stock when motors blew, i know this cuz they are good friends of mine!

No way I'd go back to that stupid Subaru motor. The stock ring lands crack on them all the time. It's a constant worry, and that irritating sound. Ugg. The fanboys love it. Since I'm an engineer at heart, all I hear is the sound of horsepower getting turned into annoying exhaust sound. To top it all off, all the equal length headers leak. I tried 2 and finally gave up.
The only people that want Subarus are tuners, and people that don't know any better.

The numbers you have look good, get it if you love the car but be warned that one day you will be sitting at a traffic light and an STi will pull up and your dick will shrink (I know the STi isn't any faster in a straight line).

um no actually they still have the same issue. Believe me I just almost bought a STi. I did tons of research. 2010's still have the same issue, I think even an 11 had it already. And they are STOCK. So I thought well maybe a wrx, nope same thing. Its not worth it imo. Ya the LNF has issues, you've seen some on the forum, but not a freaking LIST. The subie engine makes the mazda 2.3L MZR look amazing failure wise. get a evo.

all the domestic WRX/STIs have issues with pistons. they are weaker than the Japanese ones i believe because of emission laws here in the states. ive seen people with 3k on a new motor sell their stock pistons to get forged. the thing with those motors is they need to be tuned for every little thing. any sign of knock. bye bye piston rings.

yeah you are right, unfortunately... while many people thought the 2.0t out of the Genesis was just a "detuned" World engine out of an evo.........that just wasn't reality

Get a 3.8 genesis track. Rwd, big ass brembos, 19" wheels, nice interior and you can find them a little cheaper than wrx's or.. get an evo. I don't understand why the wrx's are so expensive. They don't come with **** as far as interior goes and they look like kia's now.

instead of paying $25,000 for a V6 genesis, I'd rather pay 29,000 for a 1SS... of course, i'll probably never buy another new car, only reason I bought this one is I didn't want to wait a year for them to be used...
and if I had $20,000 to pay for a used car, i'd buy a terminator Cobra and call it day... stock or modded, they are hard to beat for the money... look damn nice, sound awesome, do decent on gas... don't really see a con... unless you're under 25, then good luck insuring one, of course if you're considering a WRX, you already know that, they cost as much as a Cobra for insurance
