3.5 bar map sensor
Im new to the forum and new to turbos so sorry if there two questions have alreadbeen answered but I was wanting to know if the 3.5 aem map bar sensor would work on these cars and I was thinking about an aftermarket boost controller and was wanting to know if i got one if that would bypasd the learn down feature and keep the factory boost gauge working. The reason I ask is because I have a few things on my car and would like a little more power but im keeping the boost levels around 15psi while im upgrading stuff then im going to get it tuned

The stock ECU & sensors will let you control the boost up to 24 psi with the right tune. If you decide to purchase HPTuners, several of us here can help with an email tune if you have no one local to you.
Backyard Turbo, Terminator2 or myself.
Trifecta also does email tunes & logging through locals or direct from Vince but you need different equipment for the TF flash of the ECU than HPTuners.
If you were local to me I could do either or both. Enjoy your car as you build it up! If you modify the intake you will need a tune as soon as possible to gain from it. The K&N SRI is prob the one intake that skews fueling the least.
The GMPP 3 bar MAP sensors and base tune is another place to build from.
