Buy the adapters, if you haven't already cut your wiring. They're worth their weight in gold.

For sure they are! You don't have to ever worry about having wiring issues that the original GMS1 posseses. I do have one quirk about the 3 Bar sensors in general and thats it seems any lower charge pipe other than ZZP's or stock seems to have fitment issues with the larger connector on the sensors.

No you definitely do not NEED the sensors. The stockers are perfectly fine for a 24psi tune.

i thought you said stockers doesnt read boost properly over 22psi though?
so like my car was saying i was running a solid 25psi, but i wasnt, i have a boost leak and maybe i am spiking even over that but wouldnt really know with my stock sensors correct?

Not exactly. The boost gauge will register a relatively accurate boost level. The biggest difference is when you're logging the 2.5bar sensors they won't register past the 22.5psi mark. You can still have a solid 24psi tune, but there is just less guess work with a 3bar but ONLY when logging due to it registering the boost past 22.5psi. You see what I'm saying?

Ok so from my understanding you need 2 3 bar map sensors one for intake mani and one for lower chargepipe is this correct

Yes. Order 2 sensors, 2 O-Rings and I highly recommend the harness adapters. Makes it a breeze then.

Nah im not sure what my plans are for the car right now i need fueling cause around 26lbs my car starts popping until higher rpms. Plugs have been changed numerous times and this is a cheaper route than cams. So i figured do 5th injectors/map sensors and see where i stand there because I am being deployed sometime this year i dont want to start things before i leave and leave things in pieces

Well, if you're careful, the cams can be easily done overnight. Plus your gains would be greater than the 5th injector I'm sure due to the increased valve lift so in the end, its worth it to spend the extra money. Sure you'd need valve springs and retainers, but you need them already.

ya see my plan was do sensors and injector kit. Then when i get back buy the fully built head with cams and everything since itll help me more in the long run. Its just my way of thinking idk haha i dont want to get to in depth with a build and get into debt before i deploy cause when i get back was gonna do a built motor/head/zzp tranny and bigger turbo. Also id be spending around 650 on the injector and map sensors rather than like 850 on cams then 200 for springs and retainers which comes out to around 1100.

Ah, I gotcha. Yeah, makes more sense if you're wanting to do the built head and cams.

The information on the 2.67 map sensor came from Vince at Trifecta.

I hear ya. Im using my BYT throttle body spacer drilled for meth so I don't have any meth flowing across my maf sensor on my maf relocate lower cp.
