High speed shift into 4th, nothing happened. It was like I was in neutral. After I slowed down, I was able to get it to work. When I pulled into my driveway, I played with the gears a little and going into 4th seemed kind of junky! Linkage maybe?

 

Mine hasnt popped outta 4th yet. but its done it in 2nd and 3rd. and it feels really loose in all of my gears. and in order to get to 5th i have to lift up the reverse lockout... i take it in monday/tuesday to get it looked at.

 

Okay, I took out the cup holders and watched the cables while I shifted into 4th. The white part that secures the cable popped out of the pocket that retains it. I pushed it down firmly and it sounded like it clicked back into the pocket. Not sure if this was what was causing my problem but I will find out tonight on the drive home from work.

mine has done that while nls into second, it was wierd the shifter was pulled down where second was supposed to be but it was neutral. i pulled the shifter out and back into second and it started working, (freaked me out)

 

This is the part that was popping out. When I shifted from 3rd to 4th, this white piece securing the cable popped out preventing the car from going into 4th. The cable was just kind of floating around. I pushed down on it and it felt like it snapped back into the part that holds it. Hopefully this will take care of my problem!

By the way, the cable would fall back into place, but not securely. This is why I was able to get it back into gear after not being able to.
