Aem intake bypass

Has anyone have the AEM intake with the water bypass valve to prevent hydrolock? Wondering if this was compatible with the LNF AEM intake?

Thanks

"Waterproof Your Cold Air Intake System"

AEM's patented Air Bypass Valve eliminates the chance of hydro-lock should the filter of your AEM Cold Air Intake System become submerged in water. The Air Bypass Valve is only for use with the AEM Cold Air Intake System. In most cases, the valve installs along the upper portion of the inlet pipe and shuts down induction at the filter when submerged. Air is then rerouted through its external diaphragm to keep water out and air flowing in.

Key Features:

Durable, sonically welded, nylon-reinforced cage
Urethane flapper valves
NOTE: The Air Bypass Valve is not for use on forced induction vehicles.

Many AEM Intake Systems are street legal in all 50 states and include a California Air Resource Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number that ensures the kit has been tested to comply with emissions standards. EO numbers apply to the kit as well as the year, make and model it is being installed on.

Systems with no EO number are street legal in most states but may not be used on emissions controlled vehicles in the state of California.

thank you, guess that options out.. Forced induction must pull too much air per diameter for that valve

I had one on my Accord waaay back in the day and it fell apart anyway.

Just avoid large and DEEP bodies of water and you'll be OK
