Aem meth kit
they shipped out yesterday i believe. there is a couple left from this order....if you don't get one of them you have to wait for another small batch to be produced
Heres all the info on my kit. I purchased it through Modern performance. I believe that wire was optional and was the only wire I didnt use "green boost safe". I mounted my tank and pump in the trunk then ran the wires up to the passanger front kickpanel and mounted the box in the little cubby hole behind the kick panel. I ran the LED wires over to the center consol and mounted the LED just above the cupholder. Drilled a hole in the floorboard up as close to the dash as possible and ran both the meth line and vacume line through with a good rubber gromet. I set it to start spraying at 10psi and be at full pressure at 17-18psi. This way it will be spraying some meth and building pressure by the time your boost spike hits. The controller is responsive but our cars are so fast to build boost that you can spike your max boost and not have the meth running at full steam.
a progressive controller allows your pump to progressively spray meth at two different cc/min, you can set a progressive controller to start off spraying at 300cc/min at 10psi then full 500cc/min at let say 15psi its all in how your tune is set for meth (numbers are just for example) i highly recommend buying a flow gauge, or anything that can monitor if your meth is actually spraying/working, i had a problem on a dyno run last year, and i never would had know my meth wasn't working if byt wasn't data logging my car. i like the meth because there is no corn around me. sometimes its a hassle so thats why im still on a tf/hpt combo tune so if i ever run out of meth while driving i can just switch back to a stock tune and not have to worry about having knock or anything like that
I cant wait to install the byt tb spacer and the meth kit now the only other step is what gauge pod to use with the aem meth flow gauge?? i have the RPD guage so im not exactly sure wut would look good.
i fiberglassed my own pod for the steering column

her is a quick video of it working right at the end. its pretty accurate. i have a progressive controller and im on the medium jet and in the aem meth instal instruction it says the medium jet flows 400cc/min and that's what it read's at WOT.

i mainly did the flow gauge for extra insurance. i didn't want to be beating the **** out of my car with out my meth working, it already happened once and i got nervous lol
MPX i think does

Kind of a dumb question lol. Dont know a whole lot about meth. Is it real safe for the engine? I like the hp gains for the money but i daily drive the car and dont want to make it unreliable and ruin my car. I heard its fine if tuned right? Also are you able to kind of turn it off like electronically then turn it on when you want? Kind of like on the fly? Thanks for the help.

point:
my car has a combo tune and meth, my progressive meth controller is set up to start spraying at 10psi (engine boost)and full pressure at 17psi(engine boost) because im on a combo tune, my car will rarely use meth because i dont see over 12psi when im on the stock tune, but when i switch tunes and i go ever 17psi the meth will spray full pressure for my tune. when im out on the road and run out of meth all i do is stay on my stock tune. i just think it more convenient that way. but that's just me
Random people on this site make those dual gauge pods behind the steering wheel. I have the AEM kit and I love it. Like its stated above, works good and lets me know when the pump is on and when I'm low
