Air Filter Question

This may be the most retarded or "noob" question ever asked on cobaltss.net...but I cannot figure out how to get the box that holds the air filter to open. I unhooked the two metal clamps on the side, then what?

Lift the clamp side. The top hooks into the bottom on the other side. Its also kinda a pain to get it closed.

Release the breather hose first, or you will break the fitting off the airbox.

I always loosen the worm clamp on the intake tube and slide it back off the airbox .....unclipping the breather line is the first thing you should do when opening the hood.
