no i definitly said brake fluid and clutch fluid. i was just a little confused since my talon had a res for each, not one for both

I believe the clutch and brake fluid is in the same. Dot3 or something..

ya, i didnt have it on hand. didnt really need this info for a reason, just wanted to know. figured the cobaltss manual would be less lazy way of finding out lol

 

haha funny thread but yeah, its behind the fuse box on the LNF. Its for the clutch and brakes.

ur always dependable man. thanks. here is a question for ya, where is the fuel tank vent for when u fill up gas, i think mine is clogged or something cause whenever i fill up the pump always jumps off like its not venting right or something

 

yes the brake fluid reservois is the same one as the clutch fluid....they are together so the brake fluid reservoir will take care of the Clutch and the Breaking for the cobalts

 

I can't tell you that for sure. I have part of a blow-up diagram that pictures the vent valve in red. I assume that the vent tube is #29 but can't be sure.

 

o fyi they gave you the answers within the 1st 5 post and if you have looked under any hood they are ALL in the same spot. so dont get all pissy

ya they did, which i thought was just clutch. i didnt put my entire question. its when i did that and it got worse that pissed me off.

is that covered by the tank? can tell from the pic. i dont wanna have to take the tank off to fix this

 

Looks like it's in that black box that's above the rear twisting beam. Should be able to get to it without removing the tank

 

gonna have to check that out

 

Should be able to just poke your head under the back real quick to check it out
