Another one bites the dust

There's no need to put the dealership through the trouble of replacing the piping. It's technically your fault and could potentially just happen again. Just buy the cold side charge piping and never worry about it again...

Typo cause I'm tired, on my car that side is the cold piping. No need to get your panties in a bunch. And yes, technically your fault. That part wasn't a typo...

Just dont see how its my fault thats all.
Pay $300 for a 22psi tune=my fault
Pay $700~ for GMS1 22 psi tune=not my fault?
Sounds like its GM's fault for cheaping out on the i/c piping. It split right down the seam. You make it seem like I altered the piping or something thus causing the failure. Havent a handfull of ppl actually broke their piping while on stock boost....

Regardless, I never claimed that you modified the piping and I haven't seen anyone else have this type of failure. I'm not trying to pick on you or anything, but it's likely that you'll have this problem again...
...why make yourself and the dealer go through the hassle of replacing it if the problem can be avoided. You said it yourself, GM is "cheaping out" on the piping and your right that it definitely does not seem up to the task of handling your tune. Just upgrade it and never worry again. Again, just trying to help you resolve the issue.

Speed has nothin to do with it. The ironic part is the for the past 2 weeks ive been easy on it because we were seeing freezing temps down here in south florida. I was afraid of the plastic being brittle. Well its been in the 70's now for like 4 days now so I finally let my guard down

Wow thats crazy, i would have liked to seen how ballooned up the rubber hose from turbo to that pipe was, the rubber pipe is so soft. Its almost hard to believe that it built enough pressure to break like that

There is more to a tune than peak boost. I doubt you have the same settings as GM.

I wonder if the cars running the GMS1 will start seeing this problem in 6 months? Time will tell

Sorry. Took as if you were attacking me. I really think there was just a bad spot in the casting and after 5 months of being tuned it finally gave way. Usually when you weld something(chemical weld in this instance) the weld is stronger than the surrounding metal. Im not mad over it and all. I knew, we all knew this would eventually happen to either the plastic piping or the soft rubber elbows. Mine was just a little dramatic. lol
