Im ordering the 3" MAF adaptor off of jegs 2day to do a custom intake. and i was just wondering if anyone who has done this has had any major problems? ive heard of the computer turning the boost back down to 15psi. but other than that anything bad??

no problem, got that adapter and the 5"long AEM dryflow, only thing i dont like is that in first gear, its much easier to lose traction cause of the faster spool, i also have a catback, so that probably did some thing to. go for it, youll like it. i working on a full 3" intake from turbo to filter, already got my 2.25" - 3" coupler, just waiting for some more parts.

Any Time you alter the pipe or pipes before or after the MAF it changes the way the meter reads and requires custom tuning to get the car to run right.

Don't Do it unless your Ready to custom tune on a Dyno with proper equipment.

In most cases you will lose power until tuned.

Ted.
