anybody know this charge pipe?
So the charge pipe that was on my car looks like it was welded together in sections at the bends and then powder coated or painted silver. I can't find any brand stamps. Any ideas?
i lost complete faith in their ability to fabricate anything when I helped my brother install his intercooler kit for his old ms6. We practically destroyed his front end just to get it to fit half-way decent.
Nice this is the CX racing intercooler and charge pipes? or is it just the charge pipes itself. How does the BOV work and sound for your car?
dude, fitment issues doesn't even begin to describe the nightmare we had. I mean we had to dremel half the plastic off the back end of the radiator because there was allegedly a gap where they connected the cold side to the throttle body (yeah right). Then we had to dremel pieces off the passenger headlight and it still rubbed against different things (the horn bracket, some box with a bunch of lines running out of it, etc). The part that bothered me the most was that the only way to run the piping correctly was to completely remove the windshield reservoir. Then there was the part that ran over the valve cover. Pfff.......instead of one long piece, they cut it in half (probably to fit in the box), and the silicone coupler they gave us for it was too short so they never fit properly and bowed enough to rub against the hood. The overall fitment was so tight that it was impossible to drive the car without one pothole popping off a pipe and throwing a code.
