Should slip worse in 3rd, 4th, 5th. 1st and 2nd normally the tires break loose well before the clutch slips. I see mainly speedo lag in those videos not much slip. I should put a video of my car slipping in 3rd from 55-60MPH. RPMs jump to 5200 at 62 MPH then back down to 4300 LOL.

This is most likely the issue since mine behaves the same as Term described right down to the clutch slipping in 3rd if I'm not above ~3200RPM and don't roll into it (when I have a temporary mental lapse).

Now that I have seen the video finally (sorry bro laggin on that) Term is right dude... the laggy speedo seems to be the culprit.

The low traction light wouldn't come on if the clutch is slipping... at least it didn't when mine was slipping.

Yea but it's a you tube video... It doesn't sound like he has a 3 inch straight exhaust either but I think he does... If I recall he has basically the same setup as me... its hard to diagnose a car via internet.

Out of random curiosity, what numbers are your tune putting down? I paid the car off months ago, warranty is about to expire (1yr left) and every time I see vids/ride in a tuned one the itch to throw parts/a tune at it gets worse. That looks to be pulling substantially harder than the GMS1 even with the issue .

Meh. No car payments, I blow it up, I'll just buy a new motor/tranny . Besides Sean, Riaan, etc. are showing the car can take it and are holding together well and Kev knows what he's doing .

I haven't dynoed the car yet. Been trying to make sure it wa at 100% before I did. But I am o the most aggressive tune vince will do. So I know something is limiting me somewhere

You know what, random thought and may be completely unrelated. My buddy got dual tuned and his car started acting completely retarded a few weeks after. It would accelerate on its own Toyota style amongst other problems. Further diagnosis showed the ECM was on its way out and needed to be replaced and since then, no issues. If I'm not mistaken TC is handled by the ECM/BCM communicating with one another, but it might be worth a look if Vince said that TC seems to be enabled 100% of the time even when you shut it off to enable the tune?
