http://www.turbotechracing.com/produ...dcategory=5615

Just ordered and should be here soon. ordered the 2.0 LSJ ones. PM'd TTR about them and they said this "They are both (prothane and TTR) designed around the SS/SC tranny bushings. The SS/TC bushings are slightly smaller. With that stated the bushings will press in a bit harder (but can be done)

The engine will not flop around with the firmer bushings, and optimize the power transfer to the wheels."

wondering if anyone has done these on their SS/TC cause I know I wheel hop like a **** going from WOT 1st to 2nd. wondering how hard these are to install. And to install I just have to put the car on stands, support engine, remove mounts and replace old insert with new one I believe. I can just imagine it being such a nightmare getting these in.

THe solution to wheel hop is OTTP Stage 1 mounts. Poly bushings are still going to give you some wheel hop, plus make hte ride extremely harsh. NEver liked poly bushings for mounts personally

yeah the mounts make u feel kinda kewl though... lol u get the shake like ur in a welded motor mount car( ok not quite as bad) but i like the way it feels... but i am more used to a v8 with solid mounts and when u hit the gas u like to feel it.

if ur more into the crusing want it to feel stock 4DR is right the rotated mounts are more for what ur aiming 4.( i have solid trany mounts and ingals and i have no wheel hop... but i dont know the diffrence between my ion redline and ur ss tc)

I agree with you. I saw the OTTP kit and I have an Ingalls on my car right now that i stole from my buddy for awhile. I kinda want vibrations. My father has a mustang GT Bullit and a Vette and I just like that feeling of my car has some *****. Right now it feels so brand new i cut the muffler off and it still feels quiet and luxurious. I want a race car feeling though lol.

So i figured id go with these and a solid upper engine mount. I dont believe the engine in the SS/TC rocks around as much as the SS/SC so im sure it would be fine. I know driving an SS/SC when you let off the gas and then hit it again the engine rocks around like hell. doesnt seem to happen to bad in my car

I'll probably get mounts some point for the Cobalt, but I only have one poly mount for the tranny in my Focus and everyone who has ever ridden in it, asks why does it idle so ruff? I tend not to notice it anymore, but the comments prove that the shaking is still there

yeah, lol same here, i bought the TTR solid upper engine mount, and the prothane tranny bushings, and my buddy keeps telling me, "man, you're gonna hate all the vibrations you get from that" , and i was like,, and maybe i WANT to feel it, and maybe its what i NEED!!! lol. yes, they work great... its not that bad... you'll notice the feeling of no shake,,,, just bake!!! its nice to feel a swift pull and no movement, the mounts definitely let you feel ALL the power.

Were the LSJ ones hard to get into the mounts cause i heard the SS/TC mounts were a little smaller. lot of cramming and hammering and sayind fu** this
