So do you include a plug-in MAF harness extension for this? Or do you have to cut the harness and extend it?

Relocating the maf doesn't cure compressor surge, and im doubting you actually have compressor surge.
What cel do you have?

Good rule of thumb if you have compressor surge... don't drive the car. Again assuming this is real compressor surge, otherwise expect turbo failure in the future.

BTF has deliberately driven his old GXP with surge for some couple thousand miles and than checked the bearing and only noted very slight wear beyond what he thought should be expected. I was told this a while ago but from what i remember, surge isn't as large a killer as a lot of people play it out to be.

The 24" MAF extension harness will be included (plug & play) as well as an aluminum MAF block-off for the stock or after market MAF flange. The first batch of relocated MAF boost tubing is done and I will be picking them up from the powder coaters Monday. The only thing i am waiting on are the wire extensions.

Thanks all.

on the test car it worked great. its proven to be an effiecient setup with the correct parts. without the recalibration for the maf its pretty usless

Like who? You do know most companies do there R&D during the winter months to release things for the spring and summer? As far as Vince from Trifecta hes been on vacation for almost the whole month of January. Wow at all these doom and gloom post within the last week or so.

you guys need to understand people are busy. dan and is other guy are a 2 man team and handle everything themselves. its hard for them to get on here. idk about hahn and synapse though.

well synapse sold their test car and hahn had a death in the family which apparently means you close up shop for 12 months.
