axles

ok so my car is bone stock except for a muffler delete and intake so im not building tons of power but i noticed today that my cv shafts clicked when i backed out of my shop today??? any on know if they are covered under my warrenty or is it gunna be a pain to get the dealership to replace them?

It's my understanding that the driveshaft clicks by design. Nothing to worry about.

clicking half shafts usually mean the boot is ripped and the joint is Compromised to my knowledge

From the OP's description though, they clicked once, not continuously. I don't remember if it was actually the CVs or not though. Mine's done that since day one. I remember a thread on here about that. I'll see if I can't find it.

let me clairify... Cobalt axels are worthless... I have the stockers and im making alot more power than stock.... even when stock they clicked, after they click and always they will click... Thats the way they are, if you are really concerned I would get the stage ones from OTT, if you realllyyyyy concerned I would get the DSS stage 2 from OTT... Nothing to worry about they all click thats the way they are

the TC's stock shafts are far stronger than the SC's stock shafts so I'm not really sure how much of an upgrade the stage 1 would be for TC owners.. the stage 2 might be a cool idea though..

not really. the boost has nothing to do with it

on an ss/sc maybe. id give my left nut for stock tc ones
