Ford's new Focus RS is 300 hp from the dealer: 2.5L, 0-60 under 6secs, 264km/hr top speed, not sure on other details like price. Coming to N.America in 2010 possibly

 

Yeah i saw that thing in a mag a few months ago it looks sick! Im not sure if im remembering correctly but i think its a turbo inline 5cyl. Could be wrong though

 

Would be nice to see it in the states finally.

 

5 cylinder turbo seems to be the same engine they put in those new volvo hatchbacks. I can't wait to see a Focus RS on this side of the world

 

I already told GM to step it up because these are were just around the corner...Hopefully they listened.

Yeah. It uses the same 5cyl that's in the Volvo C30. I believe it's called the "T-5". Volvo supposedly had plans of coming out with a C30 R that had the turbo 5cyl pumping out 350hp... with AWD. But with Volvo's unseen future who knows....

I love the Focus RS. And while we'll be seeing the euro-spec focus coming stateside by 2012, who knows if we'll see this. While it would be bad-ass. with the Euro against the U.S $ one of these could end up costing $30k or more and don't know if many will be willing to pay that kind of coin for...

 

yeah that is true actually i think i saw its 21K in euro.. i doubt people will pay in usd here

it has the evo front fascia.... and scion tc headlights...with 300c srt-8 rims....with an sti body

and the wheel gap is beautiful!!!

should be AWD too. the older ones were, i havent read to much on the new ones though.

I live in the border of mexico ive seen the focus its amazing.

 

RS and cosworth=AWD.. every other focus =FWD.. and did anyone else see the recaro's? they LOOK SICK!!!!

 

I dunno.........looks like a Hyundai Accent with a Ford powerplant and a facelift......

 

but in all fairness you could say the hundai takes after the focus.. they have had an AWD turbo focus RS in the uk for year's....
