It's hard to say what the code is from ..... usually it take awhile for LTFT's to change so 5 mins wouldn't do it ....but it could be stft's or maf related . Now that it's on there right.... I would unhook the battery for 5-10 minutes and clear the codes and see if they come back......if they do.... take it a place like autozone and have them check the code for you .
I'll disconnect the batter, but I noticed that I didn't install the filter slightly offset and upside down. It's perfectly upside down so I'll turn it a lil and disconnect the battery.
My friend has an code reader/deleter so I'll have him check it on Monday.
Thanx

You have to disconnect the battery to clear the code. Or, if the condition no longer exists, it will go away on its own after a few off/on cycles. I can't remember how many. It would be better to get the code read, though, then get it cleared by the reader. That way you know what's up.

I disconnected the battery, tilted the filter so it was facing 11o'clock. Waited 15 mins and starter it up. No CEL code. Shut car off for 5 minutes. Started up and CEL was there.
Prob need to clean the MAF sensor.

Only other thing I could think of is maybe a piece of dust or dirt got on the maf and it just needs a good spray of cleaner . Good luck !

If I were running GMS1 I would prolly be running a K&N drop in with the ZZP intake tube on the stock Airbox...... The tube off the back of the box is really restrictive with the accordion section and bend . Then maybe take the snorkel off the bottom as well cause it does narrow the inlet down some ....... and a ZZP catless DP .

That's what I did.
Super loud exhausts are only cool for a couple of days. After that, especially if it's your daily driver, the drone becomes insufferable.
I'm gettin a headache just thinking about my old SS with full Vibrant exhaust. Never again.

Im looking at the ZZP LNF downpipe with these options:
Offroad with angled O2 bung - is the offroad the cat? also is angled the one I wanna go with?
both gaskets
additional O2 bung (running an AEM digital Wideband)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Offroad means NO cat .... the angled o2 will not throw codes for the missing cat. I bought mine with both gaskets but without the extra o2 bung . You only need the extra o2 if you have or bought another wideband for some reason .....most use the factory wideband.

I'd maybe consider going catless if I had a stock catback.. but I bought the car with a fart cannon on it, removed it 2 days later and just did a muffler delete.. so now given my situation, catless is definately a no go.. even the catted DP's are going to be louder than I'd probably originally planned for the car but I'll deal with it

yea.. i wish I had the stock catback, but I sure as hell wasnt going to go out of my way to find an ss/tc muffler when the delete cost me only like $20 to do (w/ OEM tip, piping, and welding included in that price)

a catted downpipe is more expensive than a catless...right?
might save a few bucks by slappin a muffler on now vs. later.. but it might not be that big of a deal
