Which is better

I have been a member on here for some time now, i dont have that many post but most of anything i needed to say has been said and everything i needed to know i searched for and found it ( hint hint newbs!) but one question has yet left to be answered, which is better? LNF or the LSJ now keep in mind i would like factual statements but seeing as how we are just tapping into the potential of the LNF opinions and thoughts are all that can be submitted right now but i still would like to know. I know that the ss/sc tc conversions are doing some nice numbers and just the regular ss/sc are doing well for themselves but overall there are so many pos/neg about one and the same with the other.... So ive got my popcorn coke and my recliner and ready to hear what the great people of this site have to say

well what are you looking for? are u looking to mod it and make the most power? or are u looking for the best car stock? either way i would say the direct injected turbo LNF is an amazing power plant.

As of now, the LSJ is far easier to mod, but this will change with time. Overall, a lot of improvements have been made to the TC, that were lacking on the SC...

However, with myself owning an LSJ, I am a bit biased towards it I like blowers more than turbos... but that is just one mans opinion.

Like the guys are saying, GM finally woke up and started attending to issues that the 05-07 cobalts had. I had a silly amount of problems with my 06 SS brakes, and the ss/tc has a lovely set of Brembos now on the fronts which are great.

I like the way they redid the suspension also, all in Germany. Check out the youtube video of it on the Nurburgring.

Power wise, a stock ss/tc is faster than the stock ss/sc, but like the guys pointed out, there is a much larger aftermarket for the ss/sc, for now at least.

you will see better suspension/power on the ss/tc without having to mod anything, the suspension on the ss/tc is extremely well tuned and with stage kits to come from GM with warrenty. I can't see myself being happy in the ss/sc stock and for the amount of money spent modding to bring it to the level of the ss/tc stock.........it hardly seems worth it when you can get a brand new one with full warrenty, new car smell and more power with stage kits than the ss/sc........not to mention all the things GM did wrong on the ss/sc which was fixed for the ss/tc. IMO, best bet is an ss/tc, with mods, u will ride with wrx sti's and even beat some.......ss/sc, u gotta do extensive modding to catch a wrx sti.

The tranny cases are different ? I must have missed that somewhere.

IMHO GM didn't leave much on the table in the transmission department to throw more power to the F35 and keep the 100K power train warranty. It's a numbers game with them and with no lift shift and launch control standard , i would be surprised to see GM temp fate with a warrantied kit.

Buy a used LSJ and have fun with it. No need to buy a new car.
