I would think that you could make 400 running the 252 on less boost. That way you can make the same amount of power without stressing the turbo as much.

I haven't had any problems with Matt at ttp, but I do see that with my same mods guys making more power. I probally will change tuner.

Say of I decided to go bnr would anybody recommend doing a meth kit? My main question really... Is 400hp attainable with the bnr?

How much does an efr go for? The bnr is $1200 and custom doing a zzp kit is about $1800

If you want 400 whp I would get the BNR 2871 and get a aggressive HP Tune running either meth or E47. Considering it will be cheaper to do than the whole S252 ZZP kit. Or wait for the Batmowheel and see what the testing shows.

Its estimated to be in the $2k area. What zzp kit are u talking about for 1800? About the cheapest u will be able to get the 252 in for is about 2500 I think

I got around $1800 by picking the parts seperately.

I live in pa and the closest place to get ethanol is in Philly. I wish there was a closer place. So I guess meth will have to do.

Nobody knows when the EFR will be back in stock. From what I've gathered, the EFR situation is a bit of a combo of the above.

The EFRs have basically been out of stock since the October timeframe (at least partly due to them being picked as the only legal turbo for use in... Indy Car I think it was), then ZZP had to play hot potato with who was making the exhaust housings due to projected pricing issues, and now it's taking time for them to design/produce the custom parts needed for the custom exhaust housing.

I'm in the same boat. I'd love the EFR, but then again "a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" and I may just go another route to finish the build rather than hope on something that may be a long way out still... and then on top of that may end up not being that much greater of a final product compared to options that were already available... and then may not even be available to buy even though it's released because of supply issues.

ya good point bro, i emailed ZZP yesterday and asked a few questions about it and all i got back was...

"We are working on it"

very informative....

i think ill just go S256, it will still give me good power and its still kinda affordable lol $2800 isnt too bad i guess

or whenever Treadstone decides to release there PTE kits i might look into those as well

The s256 will def make the 450 you want, but I think the s252 would still be able to make that power with more boost...

But probably better to go bigger in case you want more power down the road
