Brake Pads

gona once and for all do away with the shitbag stock brakes. gona have everything stripped and lubed to fix that issue, then getting rid of my toasted rotors and brake pads. for rotors are advanced auto rotors good enough? not trying to blow alot of money here. also i looked for Hawk brake pads and axxis ultimates but couldnt find anything for the 2009 SS. anyone have luck? what are you guys using?

^^ In fact, they are having a GREAT group buy right now. $515 shipped for all 4 cross drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Not a bad deal at all.

We stock the Hawk Pads, we are still waiting for a good rotor to come out for them. A lot are in the works just nothing yet.

We are recommending the rotors that NAPA sells right now until they get some good quality rotors out.

I hope you are talking about the rear pads being garbage, because the fronts are not.

The stock front Ferodo pads are far from 'shitbag'

I replaced the pads at all 4 corners with Hawk HPS when my car had about 3,500 miles. I turned/reused the factory rotors and lubed everything while I was in there. Absolutely no complaints or problems since. I purchased factory replacement rear rotors but didnt end up needing them because my factory ones where still good after turning them. I am selling the replacements that I bought if you end up wanting factorys. I paid about $185 shipped for them but I will sell them for $110 shipped within the U.S. They are unused and still in the box. Regardless, best of luck with whatever you decide.
