Buying a used hahn 20g
There is a hahn super20g that came up for sale locally for pretty cheap. He's asking $350 turbo only but I can't tell if it's too cheap. I know to look for shaft play/bearing wear but what else needs to be inspected when buying a used turbo? I know it's older technology but I figure even if it needs rebuilt it might be worth buying.
Do the stock oil and coolant lines bolt to the 20g? I understand I will need to run a bov and tune accordingly, any thing else I should know before venturing down this road?

Make sure its comes with the adapter piece. Then I would get all new hardware and gaskets and the turbo rebuilt. I just put one of these on my car used barely.. for 800 bucks. I also have full bolt ons with the fuel lobe cam and we dynoed at 418whp 390ftlbs at 25psi. lol car is a monster! to me anyway
your gonna need to buy zzps turbo oil feed and return line kit then you have to custom your own coolant lines which isnt to hard. I did my own, Its legit if you do it right. You could custom your own oil lines too like I did but I wish I would have known about the kit ahead of time lol. you can message me if you ever get this turbo and ill tell you how.

If this is the guy from Des Moines, that turbo has crazy shaft play for the miles he claims are on it. Even being a dry journal bearing turbo it shouldn't have the amount play it did. There is a reason he can't sell it.

Then I was like...Damn its not that slow.
Mines 481+ and i think its slow
That is the exact turbo I'm WAS considering, after a few text messages I decided to wait for something else to come around
