Why shouldnt you do it? What would be a risk after a tune that isnt without a tune?

well, i guess your more likely to bust **** while performing a NLS than when slowly carefully shifting, (eg. drivetrain items , axles, gears, Diff)

and if your no longer under warranty.... i guess thats the only reason not to go popping off NLS's everywhere

LOL, that would be the only reason to join the Army!! I could use the money, but dont wanna sacrifice what comes with it, LOL. I'll stick to patrolling my local area and not having to worry about deploying.

Maybe you should really look into what you're planning on doing. A game is not a reason to make a career choice, especially that type of career.

Damn, that sucks you gotta go thru all of that just for a chance to get into the Police Academy. I worked at Walmart from the age of 18 to 20, then worked at the Sheriffs Dept for almost 3 years as just a Clerk, then I got hired by our local PD and I've been there since July. I completed the Police Academy in October and have been in Training since then. Go on my own in 2 weeks, woohoo!!

Yeah!! I went from being a weekend warrior and cruiser with my cars to being a Cop and having to enforce the laws, LOL. I used to tear ass around this City with some friends, then I became responsible and got married and became a Police Officer.

I know the feeling. I have 2 nice cars that I would love to just cruise in everynight, but working 12hr shifts will put a hurtin on you and I'm still trying to get used to them. The good thing about 12hr shifts is that I work 4 days, then I'm off 4 days, etc, so that is kinda cool. And right now my Wife is working 2 jobs for alittle extra cash so I hate going out and having fun without her. I would enjoy it to if I were you.

does the tune u have raise the rev limiter to 7k? if so when u use the NLS does it hold at the old redline or does it shoot to 7k?

It works at 7k. I don't use it 1st to 2nd because there's no way to go WOT in 1st without just banging the crap out of the fuel cutoff. With the colder weather 2nd is the same. I can't WOT for traction issues. Should be better once summer comes back around.

To be honest I haven't been using NLS at all for quite some time. I just haven't had a need for that little bit of extra time recently. So I'm trying to be a little bit nicer to the drive train.

But it does work...

military police...my brother did the 5 year long college thing...not for me...police departments look at experience more than they look at scores after reading some books...
