car just stoped working wont start
ok so yesterday i was on my was down to myrtle beach i shift from 2 to 3rd next thing i know its start to back fire ok so i left off go to 5th next thing i know it starts to back fire more then one loud one and dies. try to restart it and the motor turns but the all you can hear its the starter spinging. check for codes and the only one was p0107 maf high ferquncy code thats all kinda lost havent checked any thing yet any ideas
pulled the battery nothing. its hard to explane but if you try to start it i can see the crank moving and hear the pistons out of the exhust. but all you can hear from the motor is the starter
Pull the spark plugs & inspect, check for spark. Run a compression test. Check for fuel. Many things will cause it not to fire up. Hard to diagnose over the interwebz on so little info.
could be bad coilpack(s) When i went to drive mine one day i shifted from 2-3rd and it just kept back firing and poping making like a crackle noise no matter what ended up being bad coilpack. Kinda sounds like your problem but you have more than one out it sounds
well it starts runs like **** just sits there and back fires i figured the timinng was off again so i was like ok the hell with it im going to the dealer with it so took it to marine chevy in jacksonville nc. it was towed there asked them to do the timing on and thats it well they told me well we are going to have to see about it it might be cover under warrteny i was like ok w/e just let me know. they called me yesterday said i broke a conneting rod and thats why it was miss firing so bad and that i would need a new long block. to the tune of 6000 i told them what piston was it, let me see the rod, also can i talk to the tec. well don't know what piston. don't have a rod peace and the tec went home for the weekend. so yea going to fight this

why did you have to replace the internals? Who did the replacing of the internals, cause if it only has 1k miles on them, maybe they fucked up.
also, if the rod is gone, the dealerships only option is to replace the whole long block.
