Go to turn up the boost today on the mbc and it didn't change. Turned the dial again and the butt dyno felt improved but still 25.5 on the rpd. When I turn it down under 25 it reads but the car seems to max at 25.5. I can't see a boost leak sticking to the number like that. Once it hits 25.5 it sticks to it like glue.

I worry about the map sensors due to them giving me an error after the dyno. They showed error on the rpd.

You think the mbc is just not allowing more or is it possible that the sensors won't read higher? It sucks I'm stuck at work and can't diagnose and I have like 5 races lined up tonight.

The RPD is limited to 25.5psi man. You could go pick up a cheap boost gauge to give you an idea of where you're at.

Buy ZZP's rpd/dual pillar or a gauge bezel pillar and a factory. Boost guage.(you can wire them up parrallel to the rpd) or get a mechanical boost gauge... Or interceptor.

Yeah, thats what I have but the Interceptor won't work. Its limited to 21.5psi. I have an interceptor and mechanical boost gauge.

I swear to god I've seen over 25.5 on it in the past. But maybe when I had it turned up I saw it on my tuners laptop?

I tuned it down after he tuned me and haven't had it back up since.

Yeah, I could have sworn mine did too. But I'm not throwing any codes and its only done it since I was dyno tuned by Matt, so idk. I've just been going by my mechanical boost gauge. I havent been throwing any MAP sensor codes at all.

I would have bet money it shows more. During tuning I remember watching it all the way to 28.5.

Well, I will tell you this. I do believe its a glitch in the programming of the RPD and not the map sensors. But for now I would run a mbg if I were you.

Hey Ford im the other big turbo guy in texas tuned by taylor haha. hey bro i know exactly what your talking about and its gotta be the map sensors getting close to maxing. i know that if there isnt enough load for some reason like a very slight incline when flooring the car the rpd will not show more than 25.5 psi. However when you do have that factor i have seen my rpd hit 30psi then instantly go into no data sign. Just what i have experienced. hope this helps!

Thanks Ryan. I just wanna get to 28.5 for tonight but if I can't I'll slowly dial it up until see 25.5 tonight and just be safe. Still the GTR is coming back on e85 and I wanted to turn it up lmao.

youd think theyd be enough but at the same time on the hptuner datalogger it shows like its just about limiting on the top reading of the peak boost

Yeah I dunno wtf my car is doing. Just did a pull it hit 21 then fell on its face the two pulls after that made 25...... this is why I should have worked on my own car this week.

Gonna look like excuses at the biggest meet in forever with 4 races lined up. So annoyed and I just got off work so I'm running out of time to even work on it.

I'm using the treadstone. Others are using the ZZP. They're practically air pressure regulators but hold boost really well.
