Car running very sluggish

Well i got my car dynoed today in the morning and everything went well. Well I went driving around a little while ago and the car feels like real sluggish. I know for sure the car isnt at its peak and the engine coolant is staying very high. While just idling its at like 219-221 and when im driving like 210-214. Im completly stock and Ive never seen the numbers this high and im worried somethings wrong. What could it be?

Just to see what I was really at horsepower wise because im getting my tune and intake and I want to see the difference. I know its normal for the coolant but is it also normal for the car to be running to sluggish.

Let me ask you a question. When you get on it is your traction control on? If it feels sluggish it could be the traction control kicking in so you dont spin your tires. Just an idea!

That is a high temp for an ss/tc I normally run around 195-205 in coolant temp don't know what the issue may be though.

Very true but I wouldn't think that would affect cruising temps.

Well I took it out for another ride and it seemed to be running okay. I also talked to my brother about how the car felt and he said it could have been because I was hitting boost a lot so my car was really hot causing it to be sluggish. Idk can that be true?

when its cold out here in cali.. im running between 189-192.. but recently with this 100 degree weather the car has seen 215 after the tune of 22 psi...

but before tune in heat highest i saw was 205...

im guessing texas is way hotter... so id say its normal to see that temp for the coolant...

You would guess right. It has been over 100 degrees here for the past 60 days.

I've been driving around today in 100 degree, muggy weather for the past hour or so. I did a couple of spirited romps and my highest temp was 199. I'm bone-stock, btw.

So is the temp thing the only problem or is it actually driving differently?

Those torque numbers seem a tad high for a stock SS/TC.. Those mustang dynos are known for their slightly inaccurate/high numbers unfortunately.. Is there another speed shop in your area that isn't using a mustang dyno? I'd be curious to compare the dyno sheets..

I know it has nothing to do with your original post, but it's just food for thought seeing as how it came up..

Holy cow someone needs to recalibrate that mustang dyno. 270 wtrq 250 whp on a mustang dyno is 290 wtrq 270 whp on a Dynojet.
